This  is a an 8 1/2" x 5 1/2" color print of the Red-Headed Mermaid in Disney's 1953 film classic, Peter Pan.  This print is based on an original drawing from gifted Disney artist, Joseph Yakovetic,  that he colorized in a lovely aqua color.  It shows the Red-Headed Mermaid, played by her reference model, Margaret Kerry (who was also the reference model for Tinker Bell) lying on a rock in the Mermaid Lagoon. The line that is most remembered from the Red-Headed Mermaid was when she  said to Peter Pan, "We just wanted to drown her" referring to Tinker Bell.
 
What makes this print extra special is that it has been autographed by both Margaret Kerry and Joseph Yakovetic. Margaret signed her name in blue felt-tip pen and then underneath wrote, "The red headed Mermaid from Disney's Peter Pan."  Joseph worte in black pen, "God Bless" and underneath that signed his name.
