This is a wonderful, hardback·book about the animated character, the·Pink Panther, entitled, Pink Panther, The Ultimate Guide to the Coolest Cat in Town. It was written by Jerry Beck with a foreward by director of the Pink Panther films, Blake Edwards, and an afterword by Art Leonardi who has autographed the inside of the book and drawn a sketch of the Pink Panther as well. This is the First American Edition printed in 2005 and published by DK Publishing, Inc.· The original copyright is 2005. The book measures 12" x 10 1/2" and is approximately 144 pages long.

Art Leonardi has been involved with the Pink Panther since l964 when he came to work at DePatie-Freleng Enterprises..According to Art in the afterword of the book, he helped, "shape his character (the Pink Panther's)·in various capacities through theatrical shorts, TV shows, specials and commercials." He also said that his proudest moment was, "writing, boarding, designing and directing the opening titles for Revenge of the Pink Panther.

In addition to this terrific book, my friend, talented artist, Terri Sopp Rae, drew her interpretation of the Pink Panther on an 8 /12"·Ty beanie named, "Decade.".·What fun! Decade is white with silver metallic accents in his fur.· So he rarely has a "fantasy" look about him.
