I have always been fond of the TV series, The Lone Ranger.  I even had the opportunity to be a guest star on an episode titled, The Squire.  That is why I was happy to find this hardcover book, titled, The Lone Ranger Traps The Smugglers.  I believe it is a first edition from everything I can find. The copyright is 1941 and the author is Fran Striker. The publisher is Grosset & Dunlap. The story is based on the famous Lone Ranger adventures created by Geo. W. Trendle It is 214 pages long.
 
This book is missing its dust jacket but is in good condition overall. There is some beginning rubbing and wear to the spine ends and corners of the book covers. The text pages are clean and bright although there is some yellowing due to age. Please see photos.
**It should be noted that on the inside cover page on the far right upper corner, the initials MB have been written. It is not me, Margaret Kerry. Most likely it was the first owner. I was just happy to find the book. I am now downsizing and that is why the book is for sale. 
I hope whoever buys the book is just as much a fan of The Lone Ranger as I am.
