This is a wonderful, historical, 8" x 10" black and white autographed photo of Virginia Davis, Walt Disney's first star in the Alice Comedies, way back in 1923-25. Roy and Walt Disney are also in the photo along with Virginia's father, Jeff Davis. We obtained the photo directly from Virginia.
Virginia Davis has autographed the photo .She not only signed her name and wrote "Alice" underneath it and the dates 1923-25, but she also wrote the names of Roy and Walt Disney and her father, Jeff Davis, underneath their images. This is an original autograph, not a copy, although, of course, the photo itself is a copy. Virginia is officially recognized by the Disney studios as Disney's First Star and in 1998 was presented with a Disney Legend Award. How special is this!
The photo is double-matted to an 11" x 14" size. The outer matte is white with a black inner matte. An acid-free backing board has been placed behind the photo to protect it.
You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity issued by our company, TinkerBellTalks.com, with a lifetime guarantee on the autograph's authenticity, or a full refund will be made.
