This is a 9" x 12" original, color, animation cel of Woody Woodpecker, along with a check autographed by his creator, Walter Lantz. The cel of Woody has been double-matted with a royal blue inner mat and a black outer mat. The overall size of this fabulous piece is 16" x 20".

This original hand-painted and hand- inked production cel was made for The 63rd Annual Academy Awards. In 1991, Woody appeared as a guest presenter at the Academy Awards, stealing the stage from comedians Chevy Chase and Martin Short.

You will receive a Certificate of Authenticity, issued by Universal Cartoon Studios (an MCA Company, a division of Walter Lantz Productions, Inc.) certifying that the cel is an original, created just for the 63rd Annual Academy Awards. In addition, you will receive a Certificate of Authenticity from Gallery Lainzberg, also certifying the original cel.
